Jewelry Care

All E&E jewelry is .925 Sterling Silver unless specifically stated otherwise. Sterling silver is durable enough for every day wear but will scuff/scratch/ding over time and use. In most cases, this enhances the antiqued look and adds to its appeal.

Wearing regularly will continually buff the surface and reduce the need for cleaning. When not in use, it’s best to put it in an airtight bag or container to reduce oxidation.

Remove to apply skin products and allow skin to dry before putting jewelry back on.

Natural water: Limit exposure and dry quickly. Moisture will cause the silver to oxidize.

Chemically treated pools/hot tubs: Not recommended .

Hot springs: AVOID. The sulfur in the water will oxidize the metal and change the look of the piece.

Most E&E jewelry has been oxidized for that rustic, soulful look. Don’t use cleaning solutions (even homemade ones containing vinegar, salt or other corrosives) as this will remove the surface treatment and change the look of the piece. Simply wipe surface clean with the provided cloth.
